Back from the mountains

Skip sighed walking into his dorm. He set down his survival stuff and camping stuff. "ahh...its great to be back...although the mountains were great...and the cliffs are perfect height for hang gliding." he got his clothes in the washer and tended to an egg he found on his trip. It was abandoned and most pokemon mothers wouldnt do that so something must have happened to her...it was there alone when he went up and it was still alone when he was coming back so he took it home with him to raise! After tending to the egg he made waffles for him and his pokemon.

Piper sighs as she collapses onto her bed, she had taken care of cleaning up & looked after her Pokemon. She decides to go out & about. She stands up & walks to Skip's dorm room, knocking on the door & saying. "Hey Skip, you in there?!" she asks.

"present! Im in the kitchen!" he said "im making waffles if your hungry!"

Piper giggles as she walks in & closes the door. "I'm good Skip~ I ate earlier." she smiles & sits at the counter. "So...How are you?" Piper asks & taps her nails on the counter.

"im fine...just got back from the mountains...i like to know the terrians really really well..." he sat down with his waffles and began eating "i heard there was a new kid...i wasnt sure though...is it true or is it just rumor?"

Piper looks away blushing. "Yeah, there's a new kid." she says quietly & doesn't look back at him, only at the floor.

"oh...so what ive heard was true! I cant wait to meet them! Oh you have to see what i found!" he got up and brought back an egg "i found this abandoned up in the mountains..."

Piper's eyes widen. "What could've happened? You & I both know, Pokemon wouldn't do that!: she says, looking at the egg. "Anyway, what kind of Pokemon do youthink will hatch from it?" she asks, looking at him.

"i dunno but i like surprises but so its ok! Whatever it is i will love and care for it just like its my child!" he cuddled and put it back in the nest of blankets he made to keep it warm

"I know you will." Piper smiles & watches Skip. "So..." Piper says playfully.

"so...? Im confused its like you wanting me to say a certain thing?"

Piper laughs. "No Skip, I do that when I don't know anything else to say!" ^ ^" She sweatdrops.

"oh...so why did you stop by?"

"What, is it a bad thing that I wanted to see my best friend?" Piper asks & cocks her head slightly.

"no of course not!"

"Alright then." Piper smiles & steps up from her seat.

"youre sure you arent hungry or anything?"

"Nah, I'm good, I ate earlier." she says & smiles.

"ok...well make yourself at home...im going to nap. Hiking in the mountains for days is tiring...."

"Alrighty~" Piper smiles & looks at him.

Skip went to his hammock and went to sleep cuddling the egg using body heat to warm it now.

Piper giggles & sneeks out of his room & back to her own.

He slept til dinner time and woke up to make dinner "piper? You still here?"

There was silence. But Piper once again knocked on his door. "Skip, you awake yet?"

He opened the door "did you get bored?"
