Passing Through

Estelle stepped into the campus's store and quickly scanned the aisles and shelves. Embarrassingly enough, she had left her toothpaste at home and needed to buy a new tube. She looked down aisle after aisle in search of the toiletries when she finally found them. She grabbed the first box she saw, then turned back around to go pay for it.

As she reached the cashier, she saw a little sign that had 'STUDENT HELP WANTED' printed on it. 'They're hiring students...?' Estelle pondered to herself. 'Who would you talk to about working here, I wonder...'

A boy who had his arms very full of maple syrup, pocky, ingrediants to make waffles and some pokemon food came up and waited in line behind her. An emolga wearing goggles likes his partners sat on his head eating out of a large can of peanuts. The boy had a weird ranger uniform on and mightyena like ears sticking out of his black red tipped hair on either side where the emolga sat on his head!

Estelle heard somebody step in line behind her. She looked over her shoulder to see Skip standing there, with his arms full of maple syrup and things to (presumably) make waffles with. Not wanting to ignore him, she smiled at him and asked "Making more waffles, huh?"

While waiting for a reply, she looked around the store to see if she could spot a manager or somebody of authority to talk to. She would love to apply for a job at the store and make some extra money. She thought she saw someone, but it only ended up being another student. Sadly, she turned back around and placed the toothpaste on the counter.

"i love waffles! I like making them too!" he smiled and went back to being quiet as he paided

She smiled at him again before he turned away. As she placed her money on the counter, she realized that her chances of finding a manager here in the store were slim. She grabbed her toothpaste and sighed as she walked out of the store. Guess she'll just have to stop by another time...
